So there is something new is coming on 18th June – and that is iQOO Z10 Lite! As soon as you heard the name, you might have thought “if it is Lite, it will be light”, but wait… things are a bit complicated.
Its landing page has gone live on Amazon, which means the launch is confirmed. But the question arises – is it ‘Lite’ only in name or is it the same in reality? Come on friend, let’s do its complete postmortem today… so that you don’t have to regret later.
iQOO Z10 Lite Specifications
Build & Design
Do not understand the meaning of iQOO Z10 Lite that its weight is like a feather. Reports say that its weight can go up to about 199 grams, and the thickness will be 7.9mm.
Talking about the build quality, here you will find plastic back + frame and glass front – but there is no mention of protection! Most leaks believe that Schott Xensation Glass has been used in it.
Display
Now there is a little disappointment here. iQOO Z10 Lite will get 6.74″ HD+ IPS LCD display, which has a resolution of 1612×720px, 90Hz Refresh Rate and 180Hz Touch Sampling Rate. But the limit was crossed when it was found out that it has a Waterdrop Notch – brother, this is 2025!
Talking about color options – Titanium Blue and Cyber Green will be seen. The phone will look good from the back, but will feel a bit old from the front.
Performance
So the processor is MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which is built on 6nm fabrication. Meaning you will get energy-efficient and low heating performance.
CPU is:
2x Cortex A76 @ 2.4GHz
6x Cortex A55 @ 2.0GHz
GPU is: Mali G57 MP2
RAM will be LPDDR4x and storage is eMMC 5.1 – now brother, this is a bit of a downside. eMMC even in 2025?
Talking about AnTuTu Score: ~477,000 is being told. This number is decent for gaming and general use.
Camera
Z10 Lite has 50MP main camera + 2MP depth sensor. No OIS will be found. Supports 1080p @ 30fps recording.
Only 5MP front camera for selfie, and yes, earlier it was being told to be 8MP, which has now decreased. That means there will be a little disappointment for those who do virtual meetings or video calls.
Battery
So here you get a powerful battery pack of 6000mAh, which supports only 18W charging. Now, it will take time to charge such a big battery yes. However, the charger will be available in the box, this is a good thing.
Other Features – What else will you get?
- Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
- Face unlock
- Dual stereo speakers
- USB Type-C port
- Dedicated microSD card slot
- Sensors – You will get enough sensors
- And yes, you may not get a 3.5mm headphone jack, but you will know for sure only after the launch.
Software – Android 15 with FunTouch OS
The Z10 Lite comes with Android 15 out of the box and iQOO’s own FunTouch OS 15. Now this OS also brings some bloatware with it, but the UI experience will be decent.
iQOO is saying that it will get:
2 years of Android updates
3 years of security patches
Price – Should you really wait?
Now let’s come to the most important question – Price.
The expected price of the base variant (4GB + 128GB) is ₹9,999. And there are plenty of smartphones in this range that offer better specs than this — like a better display or selfie camera.
So should I buy this smartphone?
If someone needs a phone for basic use — like for grandparents or just for calls and WhatsApp — then yes, this is fine. But if you are an all-rounder or a content-heavy user, then wait a bit.
Final Thoughts
Look, don’t have high expectations. This is an entry-level smartphone that does just the essentials — and that too with some compromises.
If you are looking for a phone that is a powerhouse of full entertainment, productivity and photography, then explore other options. But if you are on a tight budget and want to gift someone their first smartphone, then this can be a decent choice.
