If you think that Pixel phones are known only for the camera, then today I will give you a review of Pixel 9 Pro which will make you understand every special thing about this phone.
I have used this phone for a long time – took it to weddings, to the village, and clicked photos in many places. So let’s start from the beginning and see whether this phone is really the most improved Pixel of Google till date or not!
Google Pixel 9 Pro Review
Heating: Has Pixel learned anything?
First of all, let’s talk about heat management, as this has been a major issue with Pixel phones in the past. When I used the Pixel 9 Pro, I did not notice any major heating problem in daily usage. I shot a video for almost 40 minutes at 4K 30fps and the phone’s temperature was between 40-42 degrees.

Yes, the back side gets a little hotter and sometimes goes up to 44, but overall this problem is manageable. If we compare it with the iPhone, the temperature of both is quite close.
Connectivity: It can be a little better now too
People often complain about connectivity in Pixel phones, but I saw a noticeable improvement in the Pixel 9 Pro. Wi-Fi connectivity is good, and I did not experience any kind of signal drop. Just one thing to keep in mind – if you use Jio SIM, it would be better to turn off Wi-Fi calling, because sometimes there can be a problem in it.
Display: Pleasure to the eyes
This time Google has given a 6.3-inch 1.5K resolution 120Hz LTPO display in Pixel 9 Pro, which is really quite impressive. Its brightness level goes up to 2000 nits, which gives clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Colors are quite vibrant, viewing angles are also good, and due to the flat display, it is fun to watch content.
Performance and Gaming: Only for Casual Gamers
Now let’s talk about performance. Pixel 9 Pro has the latest Tensor G4 chipset, along with UFS 3.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. These specs are decent but if you want extreme gaming then this phone is probably not for you.
This phone is perfect for casual gaming and daily tasks, but if you play heavy games like PUBG or BGMI, then sometimes frame drops are seen. For people who like clean UI and smooth animations, this phone is perfect.
Camera:
The camera of Pixel has always been the highlight, and Pixel 9 Pro does not compromise in this. This time you also get a telephoto lens, which further enhances the zoom shots. Low-light performance is amazing and Google’s AI magic takes photos to a different level. If you are fond of photography, then Pixel 9 Pro will not disappoint you.
Battery Life: One day passes comfortably
The battery life of Pixel 9 Pro is decent. In normal usage, one day passes comfortably, but if you are a heavy user then you may need to charge till evening. This phone supports 27W fast charging, which is a bit slow by today’s standards. The charger does not come in the box, so you will have to buy a compatible charger separately.
Software: Promise of Long-Term Updates
The biggest advantage of having a Pixel is its clean Android experience and long-term updates. Google will give software and security updates to Pixel 9 Pro for 7 years, which is quite impressive. Along with this, you also get many new AI features that make daily usage even smoother.

Is this phone for you?
So now the question arises whether you should buy Pixel 9 Pro or not? If you want a clean Android experience, camera is your priority, and you like long-term software updates, then this phone is a good choice. But if you want to do extreme gaming or want fast charging and top-tier performance, then you may want to look at other options.
In the end, Pixel 9 Pro is for users who want a balanced phone with a great camera, clean UI, and can handle daily tasks and casual gaming comfortably. If you are one such user, then Pixel 9 Pro will definitely impress you!
