OPPO has just raised the bar for smartphone cameras. The new Oppo Find X10 series has officially arrived in China, and the top-end OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the phone grabbing all the attention.
Why? It comes with something we haven’t seen on a smartphone before: three 200-megapixel rear cameras. Along with that, OPPO has packed in a huge 8,000mAh battery, a new 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and a display that can run at up to 144Hz.
The launch is also interesting because OPPO isn’t alone. Vivo has also launched its X500 series, making this one of the busiest periods for premium Android phones in China.
OPPO Find X10 Series Has Three Models
There is a small correction to the original discussion around the lineup. The China launch includes three models: OPPO Find X10, Find X10 E and Find X10 Pro Max. The Pro Max is the flagship of the series.
The regular Find X10 is designed as the more accessible model, while the Find X10 Pro Max is clearly aimed at people who want the most advanced camera hardware OPPO currently offers.
And then there is the Find X10 E, which sits below the other two in terms of positioning.
Find X10 Pro Max Has Three 200MP Cameras
The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the world’s first smartphone with three 200MP rear cameras. Instead of using a high-resolution sensor only for the main camera, OPPO has put 200MP sensors across the main, ultrawide and telephoto cameras.
That gives the phone a very different approach to smartphone photography.
The main camera uses a 200MP sensor with OIS, while the 200MP ultrawide camera can capture a much wider scene. The third 200MP sensor is a telephoto camera, giving the phone much more flexibility when shooting distant subjects.
OPPO is also pushing the phone heavily toward video recording. The three rear cameras support 8K Log video, while the phone can record 4K 120fps Dolby Vision across different focal lengths.
For a phone that is being marketed as a camera replacement, those are serious capabilities.
A 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro Chip
The camera hardware isn’t the only thing that has received a major upgrade.
The Find X10 Pro Max is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro, built using TSMC’s 2nm N2P process. OPPO has already confirmed that the Pro Max will be among the first smartphones to use this new flagship processor.
The chip uses an all-big-core CPU design, with two cores reaching up to 4.55GHz alongside six performance cores.
OPPO and MediaTek are also focusing heavily on efficiency. OPPO says the processor can deliver up to a 61% improvement in CPU multi-core energy efficiency compared with the previous-generation process, while its NPU is designed to be 40% more power efficient.
Those are manufacturer claims, so real-world battery and performance results will depend on the final phone software and workload.
8,000mAh Battery in a Flagship Phone
The battery is another area where OPPO has gone big.
The Find X10 Pro Max comes with an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
That’s a huge battery for a premium flagship.
It also makes sense when you look at what OPPO is asking the phone to do. High-resolution cameras, 4K/8K video recording, a high-refresh-rate display and a powerful 2nm chipset can all put significant demands on the battery.
Having 8,000mAh of capacity gives OPPO much more room to balance performance with battery life.
The Display Goes Up to 144Hz
The Find X10 Pro Max has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
The LTPO panel can dynamically adjust the refresh rate depending on what’s happening on the screen. That can help the phone remain smooth when scrolling while reducing unnecessary power consumption during less demanding tasks.
The phone also has extremely thin bezels, measuring around 1.15mm according to published specifications.
For gaming and general scrolling, that combination of a high refresh rate and flagship hardware should make the phone feel very responsive.
OPPO Find X10 Price in China
The China pricing shows just how premium this series is.
The regular OPPO Find X10 starts at CNY 5,499, which is roughly ₹78,000 when converted directly. The Find X10 Pro Max starts at CNY 6,799, or roughly ₹97,000 before taxes and other costs.
The Pro Max pricing goes even higher for larger storage configurations:

These are China prices, so they shouldn’t be treated as Indian launch prices.
Will OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Come to India?
This is where things get interesting for Indian buyers.
OPPO has confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will launch in international markets, although the India price and exact launch date have not been announced yet.
That means the Pro Max isn’t expected to remain a China-only phone forever.
However, the final Indian price could be considerably different from the direct China-to-rupee conversion because of taxes, distribution costs and other factors. So it is better to wait for OPPO India to announce the official price rather than assuming it will simply cost around ₹97,000.
Vivo X500 Series Is Also Making Things Interesting
OPPO isn’t the only company launching a new flagship lineup.
Vivo has also unveiled the X500 series in China, including the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The top-end X500 Pro Max focuses heavily on photography and uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro as well.
Interestingly, Vivo has taken a different approach to cameras. The X500 Pro Max uses a 50MP main camera and a 200MP 3.7x telephoto camera, along with Sony’s new Lytia L910 sensor featuring LOFIC technology.
So while OPPO is going all-in on three 200MP cameras, Vivo is focusing on sensor technology, dynamic range and long-range photography.
OPPO vs Vivo: The Flagship Camera Battle
This is where things get genuinely interesting.
OPPO’s strategy is about putting extremely high-resolution sensors across multiple focal lengths. Vivo is taking a slightly different route, focusing on large sensors, telephoto photography and dynamic range.
Neither approach automatically guarantees better photos. Image quality depends on the sensor size, optics, processing, stabilization and software tuning just as much as the megapixel count.
But one thing is clear: 2026’s flagship smartphone camera battle is becoming much more aggressive.
Companies are no longer competing only on having a 200MP main camera. They’re experimenting with multiple high-resolution sensors, advanced zoom systems, new sensor technologies and professional video formats.
This Could Change What We Expect From Flagship Phones
The Find X10 Pro Max is interesting because OPPO isn’t just adding one impressive specification.
It combines three 200MP cameras, a 2nm flagship processor, an 8,000mAh battery, 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display, advanced video recording and ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 into one device.
That combination shows where premium smartphones are heading.
The smartphone is slowly becoming more like a pocket camera, gaming machine and AI computer at the same time. And with companies like OPPO and Vivo competing this aggressively, 2027’s flagship phones could become even more interesting.
For now, the biggest question for Indian buyers is simple: how much will these China-first flagships actually cost when they arrive here?
