Samsung has announced the official rollout of its new One UI 7, which will start from 7 April. This new interface will come with AI-driven enhancements, which will make your Galaxy device experience even more intuitive and meaningful. New Design, More Personalization
The design of One UI 7 is simple, impactful and emotive. This time the home screen and lock screen have been redesigned in such a way that you can customize your device according to your needs.
The most special thing is the “Now Bar ” feature, which shows you important updates without unlocking the phone. For example, if you are on a morning run, with just one swipe you can see your progress and also check the song playing in your Galaxy Buds .
Smarter AI Features
One UI 7 has integration of Galaxy AI , which helps in simplifying your daily tasks. With the AI Select feature, while watching any video, you can swipe to the Edge Panel and click on the ‘AI Select ‘ icon and save it as a GIF. Writing Assist also helps in summarizing your texts and automatic formatting.

Another interesting feature is Drawing Assist , which makes your sketches and ideas even better. And if you want to remove unwanted noise from your videos, you can easily clear the audio of your videos by using Audio Eraser .
Google Gemini Integration
One UI 7 has deep integration of Google Gemini, so you can give instructions to your device like your friend. Just long-press the side button and say, “Find Italian, pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating nearby,” and Gemini will show you the results immediately.
You can also use natural language search by going into Settings. For example, if you say, “My eyes are feeling tired,” then options like adjusting brightness and turning on Eye Comfort Shield will appear immediately.
Availability
The rollout of One UI 7 will begin on 7 April, first for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. After this, it will gradually reach more Galaxy smartphones and tablets, such as Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
