Today, let’s talk about a phone that gives a great package in the budget – iQOO Neo 10R. This phone is a little different in the market and also a little familiar. I used this phone a lot – gaming, camera, daily tasks, tested everything. So let’s see each thing in detail, and also tell how this phone performs in the budget of ₹25,000.
iQOO Neo 10R Review

First Impressions:
iQOO Neo 10R looks lightweight and comfortable at first glance. It weighs 196 grams, which is impressive along with its 6400mAh battery. This is possible thanks to the polycarbonate build and silicone-carbon battery. The back panel is slightly curved and merges with the frame, giving a good grip in the hand. With a flat 6.78-inch display, this is a large sized phone, which is perfect for gamers. The frame is not boxy, so it feels comfortable in the hand.
The haptic motor is also solid—gives good feedback whether you’re typing or UI navigation. The dual stereo speakers are loud and clear, perfect for music or gaming. Just one small problem—if you plug in earphones in the Type-C port, you feel a little pressure, but it does not affect the sound quality.
Performance:
The iQOO Neo 10R has Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which is a beast in this price range. With 1.5M+ AnTuTu score, this phone never stops in multitasking, app switching, or heavy gaming. With 8GB RAM (LPDDR5x) and UFS 4.0 storage (256GB variant), the speed is absolutely top-notch. I tested the 256GB variant, and it seems to be the sweet spot—128GB (UFS 3.1) is also fine, but if you need more storage then go for 256GB.

This phone is quite solid for gaming. There is a 120fps option in BGMI (Monster Mode has to be turned on), but after a while it drops to 90fps. 90fps is also quite smooth, no doubt. Features like 4D vibration and bypass charging make gaming more fun. With vapor chamber cooling, the temperature remains around 43°C even after 40-50 minutes of gaming, which is manageable indoors or in the shade.
Camera: Decent Photos, Solid Videos
The camera of the iQOO Neo 10R is quite good despite being a performance-focused phone. It offers a 50MP main camera (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The dynamic range and details in photos are good, especially in vivid mode. These photos are ready for social media. There is an option of 1x and 2x digital zoom in portrait shots, which gives quite sharp results, but sometimes the red tone becomes a bit too much.
The 32MP selfie camera also takes good selfies, and the main camera is solid for 4K 60fps video recording (with stabilization). The resolution of 4K in selfie videos is a bit different (3264×2164), but that too is decent. There is no option of stabilization in selfie videos, which is a bit lacking. Overall, this phone works for casual photography and video recording.
Battery and Charging
The 6400mAh battery is the highlight of this phone. It lasts for 1.5 days with normal use. One day passes even with heavy gaming or video recording. With 80W fast charging, it gets fully charged in ~1 hour. There is also a bypass charging option, which extends battery life for gamers. One small problem—battery SOT (screen-on time) data sometimes does not appear in the UI, which should be fixed with a software update.
Software: Funtouch OS 15
iQOO Neo 10R runs on Funtouch OS 15 (Android 15), and there is a promise of 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The UI is not clean, but not bad either. Features like Circle to Search, call recording, and app lock are available. But to make the UI smooth, some setup is required:
- Turn off Global Search and Glance (lock screen posters), otherwise unnecessary recommendations will come.
- Turn off Vivo Browser notifications too.
One issue—sometimes calls drop in Jio 5G (VNR mode), and there is no on/off option for it, which should be added in a software update.
Connectivity and Extras
The phone has 5G, 4G+, Wi-Fi, IR blaster—everything. Connectivity is solid, there is no issue in call quality and internet speed. Just the VNR (Jio 5G) call drop issue is a small problem, which is rare.
Price and Deals
iQOO Neo 10R price:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB: ₹25,998 (with offers ~₹23,248)
- 8GB RAM + 256GB: ₹27,998 (with offers ~₹25,248)
It can be cheaper with SBI card or exchange offers on Amazon. 256GB variant gives more value due to UFS 4.0.
Final Verdict
If you want a budget-friendly phone that offers gaming, a decent camera, and solid battery life, the iQOO Neo 10R is a strong option. This is a performance-focused phone that toughens up the competition in the Rs. 25,000 segment. With a few software tweaks, it can get even better.
