So look at this newly launched Redmi Note 14 Pro. It has Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor and 5500mAh battery is also available. Now the question is whether this phone will be able to give good gaming performance under 25K or not? In this post we are going to talk about this, so let’s start without wasting time!
Specifications and First Look Impression
Redmi Note 14 Pro has Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor, which looks quite powerful on paper. Apart from this, there is a 5500mAh battery which is important for long gaming sessions. When we tested the phone for BGMI, the first thing we looked at was the graphics settings.
If you check the graphics settings, you get 60fps unlocked on Smooth, and 40 and 60fps options are also available on Balance or HD settings. For testing, we ran the game on Smooth at 60fps to see maximum performance.
Redmi Note 14 Pro BGMI Test – Is this phone really gamer-friendly?
Now when I started the game, the FPS was stable in the beginning. But as soon as I jumped from the plane and landed, the FPS dropped to 40-50. When enemies came nearby, the FPS went down further, sometimes even reaching 30.
The reason is simple – Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor is good for “timepass gaming”, but not so good for hardcore BGMI players. As the action increases, the FPS fluctuates and the game starts lagging sometimes. In such moments, “frame sticking scene” was also seen.

Battery and Heating – How much does it matter?
After playing the game for half an hour, the battery drop was quite noticeable. Battery performance is average, but when you play long sessions, the phone starts getting slightly warm. The temperature on the front side went up to 40°C, and on the back side it was around 37-38°C . This is not that bad, but if you have to do long gaming sessions, then the heat management is not perfect.
Is it the best option under 25K?
To be honest, “this phone is not the best option for gaming under 25K”. If you are buying a phone only for gaming, then there are other options. For example, Realme 3 Turbo, which comes in the same price range and unlocks up to 90fps. In comparison, the performance of Redmi Note 14 Pro seems average.

Final Verdict – Should I take it or not?
If you are a gamer who plays BGMI casually once in a while, then this phone is fine. But if you want consistently high FPS and smooth gameplay, then you should explore other options. The Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor is fine, but not made for hardcore gaming.
