Friends, today is a little special because of POCO F7 – a phone that has the power to win hearts with its design itself! Today, along with unboxing it, I am going to give you a sneak peek of the design.
I will show you in full what amazing this phone does in terms of design! So come on, let’s open the box and see what all we got.
What’s in the Box? Unboxing Begins!
First of all, the box of POCO F7 – a very sleek and premium look, which comes with POCO’s signature black and yellow vibe. Let’s see what’s inside the box:
- POCO F7 Phone: This is a hero! Absolutely new, safe in a plastic wrap.
- TPU Case: Yes friends, POCO has won our hearts! Nowadays many brands avoid giving cases, but this gray colored TPU case is a perfect fit and will protect the phone from scratches.
- SIM Ejector Tool: Small, but useful!
- Paperwork: Quick start guide and safety info – standard stuff.
- Charger and Cable: Charger wattage is not visible yet (Xiaomi rules!), but there is a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, which feels premium.
One thing is clear as soon as we open the box – POCO has left no stone unturned in the packaging. Everything is neatly packed, and including a case is a big plus point!
Design: Extremely Premium, Extremely Flagship Vibes!
Now let’s talk about the real thing – the design of POCO F7. Friends, I took this phone in my hands and for the first time I felt that this is not a budget phone, but a complete flagship killer! Let’s see each detail:
Build Quality: Metal Frame, Solid Feel
Metal Frame
Yes, POCO F7 does not have a plastic frame, it has a full metal frame! It is clear from the antenna lines that it is solid and durable. The phone weighs around 200-220 grams – neither too heavy, nor too light.
Slim Profile
The phone is very slim, gives a perfect grip in the hands. The buttons are also made of metal, which feel very satisfying when clicked.
No Flex
I twisted the phone a little – no flex! Build quality is top-notch, which we also expect from Xiaomi phones.
Back Panel: Limited Edition Swag
Dual-Tone Design
The back panel design is the USP of this phone! With a limited edition vibe, POCO branding and a reflective green accent near the camera module. The green strip looks quite futuristic – is it LED? No, it’s a paint job that glows under the glass!
Camera Module
The camera module protrudes a bit, but with two cameras it looks sleek and stylish. The combo of glass back and metal frame gives a premium feel.
Snapdragon Logo
The Qualcomm Snapdragon logo is seen on the back, which hints that this phone is going to leave no stone unturned in performance!
Front: Bezel Less, Smooth Display
Slim Bezels
The bezels of the screen are very slim, especially on the sides. The top and bottom bezels are also quite minimal, which gives the phone a modern look.
Display
I can’t officially say anything about the screen tech (OLED or AMOLED?), but one thing is for sure – it is very smooth! High refresh rate is felt when you swipe. Colors are vibrant and viewing angles are also great. What do you think, is it AMOLED or IPS?
Ports and Buttons
- USB Type-C Port: There is a Type-C port at the bottom, along with a loudspeaker and SIM tray.
- No 3.5mm Jack: Unfortunately, there is no headphone jack, but this has become a trend these days.
- No IR Blaster?: IR transmitter is not visible on the top, but it may be hidden in the camera module – we will know this in the full review!
First Impressions: What a Thing, POCO!
After taking the phone in hands, one thing is clear – the design of POCO F7 can compete with any flagship phone. This phone is not only stylish, but also feels durable.
Metal frame, slim bezels, and back panel with a unique green accent – everything is absolutely perfect! And yes, limited edition branding makes it even more exclusive.
